The pipe supported dock auger bit is cast iron and fits inside 1-7/8″OD schedule 10 pipe. Auger bits allow maximum anchoring of pipe supports to the lake bed. The attaching hole is pre-drilled at a 5/16″ diameter and typically requires a minimum of a 2-1/2 stainless steel fastener to secure through pipe and auger. Hardware is not included.
