Bass Lake Docks

Bass Lake Preserve located in Chardon, Ohio features a 160 acre lake known as Bass Lake.  It is also home to Spring Brook Sanctuary and the Brook Trout, the last known indigenous population of the fish.  The preservation of Bass Lake is overseen by Geauga Park District.  Boating and fishing on Bass Lake is by permit only typically from April through November.

Bass Lake Floating Docks

In 2009, Geauga Park District purchased Metal Craft lightweight floating docks for use at Bass Lake Preserve for individuals looking to boat and fish.  An additional section of dock added in the spring of 2017 gives boaters even more area to moor boats and fish.  Lightweight floating docks are the perfect solution for when water levels fluctuate through the season.  All dock sections are made from extruded aluminum coated with a poly acrylic, non-skid finish.  Provisions for water run-off ensure boater’s safety.  A heat sink technology allows the deck surface to maintain an ambient temperature in the dog days of summer.  Poly flotation make the docks environmentally safe and allow for minimal maintenance.  Floating docks are available in four standard widths and three standard lengths in your choice of one of three decking finishes.  Contact Metal Craft Docks for Bass Lake Floating Docks information.
