Rocky River Docks and Lifts
The Rocky River is a relatively short river which forms the western boundaries of the cities of Cleveland and Lakewood, Ohio. The city of Rocky River, on the west bank bordering Lakewood, is named for the river. While the majority of the Rocky River belongs to the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation, homeowners as well as Yacht Clubs and Marinas have chosen Metal Craft Docks and Lifts to access the Rocky River for over 20 years. Whether wading in the river for fun, canoeing, kayaking or boating upriver to Lake Erie, the Rocky River has excellent recreational options. Rocky River docks and lifts by Metal Craft will provide you with aluminum docks and boat lifts that require minimal maintenance and will allow you to enjoy your river experience for years to come!
Rocky River Docks
Due to the unpredictability of Mother Nature and the sometimes drastic water level variations on the Rocky River, Metal Craft Heavy Duty Floating Docks are the preferred choice for worry free enjoyment. Metal Craft provides both Residential and Commercial Heavy Duty Floating Dock Systems made entirely of aluminum with polyethylene encased floats. Both systems come in four widths, three different lengths, and are available in 22” high or 26” high freeboards. Due to the degree of customization involved in configuring a Heavy Duty Floating Dock system, we strongly recommend working with our experienced Metal Craft Dealer, Tom Stack, to develop a system to best fit your needs. Our Heavy Duty Floating dock systems are currently installed at Clifton Lagoons, DeCapua Marina, and many residential sites along the Rocky River.
Rocky River Lifts
Metal Craft also offers aluminum boat and PWC lifts for use with or without a Metal Craft Dock. We offer boat lifts to accommodate weights up to 5,000 lbs. and PWC lifts to accommodate up to 1,200 lbs. Metal Craft aluminum boat lifts feature a deep “V” design allowing entry to the lift in shallow water. Our side trussed design provides extra strength and makes entry to your watercraft easy. Standard features include stainless steel cables, nylatron pulleys, and zinc yellow coated fasteners. Additional accessories such as electric boat lift motors, carpeted side-guides, pontoon kits and fabric canopies are available for customizing your boat lift for your needs. Adding a lift to your site on the Rocky River requires the assistance of an expert, we recommend working with Tom Stack to determine requirements needed at your riverfront property for best results!
